Randle Repeater & Remote Base

This repeater is a GE Mastr II Base Station running 25 watts out to a 20 foot Sinclair 9 db antenna. It is located in East Lewis County at 5000 feet. This repeater has a frequency adgile "REMOTE BASE" giving the ability to "link" other repeaters or simplex frequencies on; 2 meters, 1.2 meters, or 70CM.

This repeater is SOLAR CHARGED BATTERY POWERED. If battery power gets low it can become unlinked from the system, or turn itself off until the batteries become recharged.

It has weather and battery condition telemetry that is voiced on the repeater output during various ID's or when called upon. The telemetry is heard on all six repeaters, when they are all normally linked together.

The "Randle Repeater" covers most of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest areas, from Mt Rainier to Mt. Adams to Mt. St. Helens... and works great on HWY-12 from White Pass to Centrailia/Chehalis... It has also been accessed from Seattle/Tacoma, Bremertown/Port Angeles, Olympia/Shelton, Aberdeen/Hoquiam, SouthBend/Raymond, Astoria, Portland/Salem, The Dalles, Goldendale, and Yakima.

Here are some PICTURES from the site.
